Before knowing the full of the word BYE, we have to
know where this word comes from or say what the origin of the word
BYE is. It’s very difficult to tell the exert date or time but as per my research,
from books, from the internet, this is an estimation, this “Bye” comes from the abbreviation
“Goodbye” comes from the term “Goodbye” which means “God be with
you”. As per history, the word BYE first appears somewhere between 1565 or
1575. As per history, the English
writer and Scholar Gabriel Harvey used the word “Goodbye” that appears in
a letter written in 1573.
Over time, different terms like “good days” or “good
evening” are influenced, and slowly by gradually as time goes on and people
start using more shorts forms then people use term “Bye” instead of
using long-term “goodbye”.
What is the Meaning of BYE in English?
We all used the word BYE / Goodbye several times in a day
and we used this word while leaving or parting. It simply means whenever we leaving
from the place we used the word bye.
And people may ask what the difference between “Bye” and “Good
bye” so, the answer is we used bye when we are leaving a place for some
time and we will see that person again, however, the goodbye is used when we are
indefinite parting from some person for a lifetime or maybe the last time we
see that person and there is no chance to meet them again.
That’s why “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna” means does say “Goodbye”
